For-word Play - a poem (From "Four Folded Corners")

I know you like me
when I dress up in punctuation
flaunt my vowels,
strut my diction in a standard font,

Who needs a negligee, Baby --
     I've got words.

Heat - A Poem (From "Four Folded Corners")

Even on these
summer days
when the heat
within and
without stirs
me to move,
I can find
respite in
your eyes --
their tempestuous
pools beckoning
billowy breezes,
spontaneous sun
showers, sweet
wet earth,
relief.
